In February 2007, Robert Tam and Arun Moorthy decided to create Slept Productions, a company which can provide services to artists, labels, and other industry professionals. Their blend of innovation, musical versatility, and a professional approach make them perfect for any ask – be it song writing, recording, producing or engineering.

Before that February, Rob and Arun were two friends that enjoyed spending their spare time playing music ranging from heavy metal to smooth jazz. They spent tireless hours studying music, analyzing anything and everything from tempos, melodies, structures and techniques, trying to understand the intricacies that allowed them to fall in love with the music.

Over the course of these last few years, Slept Productions has taken this analysis and knowledge and brought fresh ideas to many artists in the Greater Toronto Area. Using their large scope of music background, passion for creation, and understanding of business and management, Slept has been able to develop a versatile and emotive style that plays on the artist’s strengths and allows them to express their creative vision with ease. And still, they maintain a professional approach that’s appreciated by both musicians and management.

Slept Productions expects continued growth and development and is looking forward to using their expertise and talents to create music with others across the GTA.
